Hurricanes shutout the Rebels 4-0 in a fight filled affair
LETHBRIDGE – From the drop of the puck to the final buzzer, the Lethbridge Hurricanes outplayed the Red Deer Rebels in nearly every facet of the game on route to a 4-0 victory on Wednesday night (Dec. 6) at the ENMAX Centre.
The Hurricanes improve to 7-1 in their last eight games with the win, now sitting at a record of 14-13-1-0 on the season.
Egor Zudilov would get the Hurricanes on the board at 8:29 of the first period, when he sent a fluttering puck over top of Rebels goaltender Riley Lamb on a pass from Igor Merezhko.
That was the only goal of the first frame, but it wasn’t the only action.
