Losing streak hits seven games as Hurricanes drop 5-2 decision to Rebels
RED DEER – The woes continued for the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Wednesday, Mar. 14, as they lost their seventh straight game – this time a 5-2 decision against the Red Deer Rebels.
With the loss, the Hurricanes are now sitting at .500 on season with a record of 32-32-6, just three points ahead of the Rebels for 2nd place in the Central Division.
Each team has two games remaining in the regular season.
The Rebels opened the scoring at 12:45 of the first period when Kristian Reichel buried his 33rd of the season past Hurricanes goaltender Reece Klassen.
