'DISGUSTED' BY NATIONAL RESULTS

Motz wins again in Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Glen Motz has been re-elected as the MP for the riding of Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner.

He said he is pleased with the local federal election results and praised his campaign team. However, on the national level, he said he’s incredibly disappointed.

On Monday night, Motz said, “I was certainly hoping for a different result.”

“I think Justin Trudeau should take a hike personally and step away from what he is trying to do to ruin this country. I’m actually surprised and disgusted at the results I’m seeing down east.”

He said he’s surprised that Canadians can “put their trust in a leader like Justin Trudeau who has demonstrated repeatedly he can’t be trusted.”

“He promises what he can’t deliver. He lies and has lied to Canadians on a number of issues that are significant and yet, they’re willing to give him another chance, [and] at what? At racking up record debt that we’ll never get over? That’s the part that surprises me.”

Motz received 30,142 votes, well ahead of the NDP’s Jocelyn Stenger, who finished second with 6,506 votes.
