The sill and soil: planting positivity in Lethbridge

Jun 22, 2023 | 11:12 AM

Pattison Media is proud to support the local community with the ‘Amplify Southern Alberta’ promotion, featuring local businesses, individuals and groups that make a difference in our community.

LETHBRIDGE, AB – What started as a question of, “why isn’t a plant shop in town” turned into, “stop waiting and just do it for yourself and for the community.”

The sill and soil is a local business that provides amazing plants for the Lethbridge region.

At the sill and soil, they believe supporting the community is important. They try their best to give back and lift up the local region while encouraging people to spend locally. Some examples of what the sill and soil team has done to give back to Lethbridge include hosting monthly pop-ups at no charge to help customers discover something they may not find elsewhere.

One special the sill and soil product is the plant girl sticker. Sales help raise funds for a rotating charity. The team donates clothes year-round, specifically meant for winter, in a take-what-you-need initiative.

The sill and soil team puts value into their business and will always try and make the best decisions and follow the best practices, when it comes to who they work with, making sure that acceptance and sustainability are always well thought out, whether it comes to the plants they sell, or who to support.

So, you know if they love it, you know that it’s been vetted by their high standards.

Thank you, the sill and soil, for all that you do in helping “Amplify” Lethbridge. Continue to do the amazing work that you do. Follow the sill and soil on Facebook.
