LETHBRIDGE, AB – Residents in Lethbridge could be getting a phone call about the Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) over the next few weeks.

Beginning on August 28, 2023, IPSOS will be conducting a phone survey on behalf of the LPS to gather feedback from the public.

The 2023 Community Survey aims to evaluate the overall performance of the LPS, as well as obtain information on citizen satisfaction, perceptions regarding safety, and identify recommendations for improvement to the LPS’ operations.

The results of the survey will be used to guide the police service’s 2024 Annual Policing Plan.

Surveying by phone will take place over the next few weeks. The survey is confidential and the LPS said it should only take about 15 to 20 minutes to complete.

Results from the survey will be shared publicly in the fall.
