Hurricanes drop 5-4 decision in Game 3 against Wheat Kings
BRANDON – Two quick goals at the end of the second period were the difference for the Brandon Wheat Kings as they defeated the Lethbridge Hurricanes 5-4 in Game 3 of the second round on Tuesday, April 10.
Lethbridge now leads the series 2-1 overall.
The Wheat Kings started the game on time, when under five minutes into the opening frame Linden McCorrister opened the scoring with his 5th goal of the playoffs.
After killing off a Brandon powerplay midway through the first, the Hurricanes finally got on the board at 16:08 when Logan Barlage converted a pass from Zane Franklin past Wheat Kings goaltender Dylan Myskiw to make it 1-1.
