Living Donor Match Found for Taber Councillor in Need of Liver Transplant

TABER – Town of Taber Councillor Jack Brewin has found a match for a liver transplant.

In a post on Facebook, the group Find a Liver for Jack announced that a man named Andy has tested positive to be a match and will be donating part of his liver to Jack next week.

Back in March, a plea went out in southern Alberta that Jack needed a liver transplant as quickly as possible, as his life depended on it.

The group thanks all the people that have supported the search and even had themselves tested.
