Police seek burglar following confrontation with homeowner

LETHBRIDGE – Police are on the hunt for a man who broke into a west side home earlier this month, and got into an altercation with the resident.
It happened at 4:45 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, on the 200 block of Red Crow Blvd. According to police, the man tried to leave the home with several items when he was confronted, and a physical altercation began in the home and continued on the street.
The suspect ran away, headed south on Sarcee Place West, and escaped through a park.
The suspect is described as Aboriginal, about 21 years old, 5’9″, 140 lbs., with a thin build; clean-cut with short hair, and wearing dark clothing.
