Canadians have third-highest levels of mental health struggles during pandemic
LETHBRIDGE, AB– Lenstore’s 2021 Global State of Health report revealed that Canadian adults are among the highest in stress, anxiety, and sadness during the global pandemic.
Our home and native land ranks third highest in the world at 26% of all adults who experienced either stress, anxiety, or great sadness with our mental health because of the domino effect COVID-19 had on the world.
The report says part of the reason Canada is ranked high is due to the lack of resources being offered for people experiencing a mental health crisis.
At the top of the list, the United States is ranked number one at 33% and the United Kingdom at 26%.
