Scotiabank to Open Regional Banking Centre

LETHBRIDGE:   Mayor Chris Spearman was on hand for the ceremonial ground-breaking of the planned Scotiabank Regional Banking Centre in downtown Lethbridge on Friday (April 8th).

The new Regional Banking Centre is set to be built on 1st Avenue and 3rd Street and is expected to open in the spring of 2017. It will offer customers retail banking on the main floor, while Scotiabank’s Commercial Banking services and Scotia Wealth Management will be on the second floor.

According to Mayor Chris Spearman, “The investment highlights Scotiabank’s focus on servicing the needs of the residents of Lethbridge through an enhanced customer banking experience”.

The Scotiabank Lethbridge Main Branch at 702 3rd Avenue South and the ScotiaMcLeod Inc. office at 319 4th Street South and customer accounts will be transferred to the new Scotiabank Regional Banking Centre when it opens.
