Activists Show Their 4/20 Pride

LETHBRIDGE – Well over 100 people showed up at City Hall to mark 4/20.
Powerful speeches and cheers of approval to legalize pot use in Canada were shared, before the group marched to Galt Gardens.
The event was used to support Norml Canada, which is a non-profit, public interest, member operated group, chartered at the Federal level since 1978. Its mandate includes government lobbying, public education, research, and legislative and judicial challenges for private marijuana use.
It also supports Calgary 420, which advocates at a more local level.
