Taber RCMP Ask for Information Related to Theft of Camaro

HAYS: In March of this year Taber/Vauxhall RCMP received a complaint of stolen 1981 Z28 Camaro, Maroon in coloUr, near Hays.
The theft was discovered after the garage that it was being stored in burned down. Taber/Vauxhall RCMP realize there is some time that has passed since the theft, but are hoping that because of this time, the Camaro may have made an appearance for sale somewhere, in papers or on line, since it would be considered less “hot” than when it was taken.
At the time of the theft it was not in running order and did not have the engine attached, but both the engine and the car were stolen.
Taber/Vauxhall RCMP are asking anyone with information to call 403-223-4447 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222- TIPS (8477) where they want your tip, not your name.
