Annual Strike Out Hunger Event Knocks it Out of the Park

Lethbridge:   The Interfaith Food Bank’s 10th Annual Strike Out Hunger event, in partnership with the Lethbridge Bulls, was another success.

Local radio morning crew members, Mike Hepditch of B-93 and Gillian McLeod of Country-95   were on hand to help with Dunk Tank.

Before the game on Wednesday, July 20th, a pre-game BBQ brought in over $600.   As well, fans brought 481 pounds of food to the event, valued at $1,202.50 and contributed an additional $225 in monetary contributions throughout the baseball game!

The total contribution from the pre-game BBQ sales, financial gifts, and non-perishable food items brought in over $2,000 to benefit Interfaith Food Bank, making it the most successful Strike Out Hunger event to date.
