Nov 10, 2016 | 1:23 PM

LETHBRIDGE – In honour of Veterans Week, The Galt Museum and Archives will host a screening of local southern Alberta based production “The Agreement.”

The short docu-drama produced by Julian Black Antelope and deirected by Michael Peterson is inspired by true events, and follows the feelings and emotions of George T. Davidson, a Medicine Hat lawyer, as he leaves behind a life of privilege and wealth to serve in the trenches during WWI.

According to a media advisory issued by The Galt Museum and Archives, “The Agreement,” brings the audience into the trenches of Germany’s Somme front line during WW1 and reveals Davidson’s inner thoughts as he recalls the day of his decision to enlist.

The screening begins at 7 p.m. with Brenda McCafferty of the LASA in attendance to answer questions about the production.
Admission fees apply to the screening for adults and seniors and will include access to the exhibits on display at the Galt Museum & Archives.
