LETHBRIDGE – A 31-year old Lethbridge man accused of sexually assaulting two teenage boys is out of custody.

Cody Tyler Black Forehead was freed with consent from the Crown Thursday morning (May 11), after agreeing to $2,000 no cash bail, which means he will only have to pay if he breaches his release conditions.

Those conditions are that he report to the Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) once a week, that he not consume drugs or alcohol unless prescribed by a doctor, and that he have no contact with anyone under the age of 18 unless in the company of another adult. While he will be allowed to use a computer – as his lawyer noted he is currently a student – he can not use it to access social media for the purpose of communicating with underage individuals.

The case was then adjourned to June 1.

In a media release from LPS, they state that an investigation found two 15-year old boys snuck out of their homes and met with an adult one of them had met through social media, on the night of Apr. 27. Over the course of the evening, the boys consumed drugs and alcohol at the man’s home, and were then allegedly sexually assaulted.

The accused was taken into custody without incident on May 1.

In addition to the sexual assault charges, Black Forehead faces two counts of sexual interference and one count of invitation to sexual touching.
