Police seeking owner of wallet found with significant amount of foreign currency

LETHBRIDGE -  Police are hoping the rightful owner of a wallet containing a significant amount of foreign currency will come forward. 

 On Thursday (May 11) a member of the staff  at Bibles For Missions thrift store along the 1000 block of 1 Avenue South, found a wallet that contained the large sum of currency. The wallet did not contain any ID and was turned over to police.

Proof of ownership will be required in order to claim the wallet including a description as well as the type and amount of currency it contains.

The owner of the wallet or anyone with information is asked to contact the LPS Property and Exhibits Unit at 403-330-5017 or attend the police station.
