City replacing power poles along 19 Street North for the next month

LETHBRIDGE – City of Lethbridge electric crews will be replacing power poles in the Westminster area that are due for replacement over the next several weeks.

The city is advising drivers in the area there will be periodic lane reductions and temporary parking restrictions along the 500-to-900 blocks of 19 Street North to facilitate this work.

At this point in time no power outages are anticipated while this work is occurring, but residents are asked to drive with caution in this area and follow posted detours and No Parking signs.

Officials say work is expected to be completed by late December, weather permitting.
