RCMP Promotes Attention Behind the Wheel Easter Weekend

ALBERTA: The RCMP are asking the public to pay close attention behind the wheel this Easter weekend.
“We want everyone travelling on Alberta’s roads this long weekend to get to where they are going safely,” Superintendent Ian Lawson said.
For those hitting the roads, remember to buckle up, leave the cell phone alone and give extra time to reach your destination, Lawson added.
With the spring weather the RCMP are also asking motorists to keep an eye out for cyclists, motorcyclists and pedestrians and be prepared to react to wildlife in the early evening and morning hours.
