Child Dies in Fatal Crash near Lundbreck

LUNDBRECK – An 8-year-old child died this weekend in a vehicle crash near Lundbreck.

It happened on Sunday just before 8:30pm on Highway 3A. The driver lost control of the vehicle and it went over a small embankment. The vehicle had six occupants inside at the time.

The child was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver and remaining passangers were treated for minor injuries.

RCMP say alcohol is not a factor. An investigation is ongoing.
