Community Conversations Encouraged to Learn More About the Future of the City

Jul 17, 2016 | 12:13 PM

LETHBRIDGE – It’s your turn to once again get involved in a city-wide conversation.

As part of the second stage of the “Let’s Talk About Our Future” session which took place in June, the City of Lethbridge is encouraging all residents to hold Kitchen Table Conversations.

All local organizations, business and residents are encouraged to hold these conversations as Lethbridge quickly approaches 100,000 people. The City wants to know what it can offer residents, what role it plays in the region and how to plan for the future.

This time around, the focus is on efficient land use and environmental and historic resources. A survey on both topics is available on the City’s website until August 31st.

All community conversations and surveys are being used to update Lethbridge’s Municipal Development Plan, and aid in continued compliance with the South Saskatchewan Regional Plan.

You can find everything you’ll need to host your own Kitchen Table Conversation at www.lethbridge.ca/100K+.
