Swift Current 57s double up Lethbridge Bulls 12-6

LETHBRIDGE – It was another tough night at Spitz Stadium for the Lethbridge Bulls on Friday, June 29. The Swift Current 57s defeated the Bulls 12-6 in a spirited affair that saw both teams combine for 19 runs and 33 hits.

The loss was the second straight for the Bulls against the 57s, leaving them with a record of 8-14 on the season. 

Swift Current got a triple, two home runs and five RBI from Bo McClintock. 

Not to be outdone, 57s outfielder Myles Miller had six hits, three runs, a home run, two RBI and also stole a base. 

Lachlan Mayo had four hits and two RBI for the Bulls while Hank Forrest added two hits and two runs

Joey Machado started and went five innings for the 57s to get the win. Bulls starter Bryce Oriold-Fraser gave up six runs and nine hits in the loss.

Lethbridge is back in action tonight when they welcome the Weyburn Beavers to town.
