Fewer infractions during this year’s Street Wheeler’s event

LETHBRIDGE —   Police issued fewer tickets over the course of the Street Wheeler’s event this past weekend, than they did last year.
 
In 2017, 202 ticket where handed out, while this year’s tally was 179.
 
Most of the offences were for speeding and stunting. In addition, police charged five people with impaired driving and issued two 24-hour suspensions.

Police thank the local Street Wheelers Car Club for their cooperation and ongoing efforts to keep this event safe for everyone to enjoy.
