Season begins for Lethbridge Speed Skaters in Saskatchewan and Rocky Mountain House

LETHBRIDGE – The Lethbridge Speed Skating Association had three skaters compete in a meet in Saskatoon, and one in Rocky Mountain House, this past weekend as they kicked off the 2018/19 speed skating season. 

113 skaters from all over Saskatchewan, in addition to the Lethbridge racers, participated in the Saskatoon Ability meet that coincided with the celebration of 75 years of speed skating in that city.

The Rocky Mountain House Fast is Fun meet hosted 85 skaters from Calgary, Banff/Canmore, Red Deer, Edmonton and Lethbridge.

Results in Saskatoon:
