The province’s seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate dropped a full percentage point, from 7.3 to 6.3 per cent. While there was a slight decline in the labour force of 2,500, the number of jobs surged by 23,700. Full-time employment rose by 36,500, offset by a decline of 12,800 in part-time workers.
