Two trades in two days for the Lethbridge Hurricanes

LETHBRIDGE – The Lethbridge Hurricanes have been busy over the last couple of days.

According to a news release, hockey club officials announced they have traded goaltender Reece Klassen to the Spokane Chiefs for a 7th round draft pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.

The 19-year-old from Cloverdale, B.C., was signed by the ‘Canes in 2017 and appeared in 49 regular season games, posting a 16-12-7-3 record.

On Tuesday, the team acquired 1999-born goaltender Liam Hughes from the Seattle Thunderbirds.
