RED DEER – Not only is the Canadian Finals Rodeo coming to Red Deer, it’s staying for the next decade.

One of the worst-kept secrets was made official Tuesday, Jan. 16 with the announcement that the CFR is moving to Red Deer after 44 years in Edmonton.

Alberta politicians back in the house on March 8 for spring sitting - new budget

EDMONTON -  The new legislature calendar is out for 2018 and Alberta politicians are to be back in the house for a spring sitting that begins March 8.

It will be United Conservative Leader Jason Kenney's first appearance as a legislature member.

Parks Canada chooses design for new Waterton Lakes visitor centre

WATERTON LAKES NP - The new visitor centre in the centre of  Waterton's Townsite will consist of three craftsman-style, flat roofed, wood and stone buildings. One will be an interpretive centre, the second, an administrative area, and the third - public washrooms.
