Hurricanes Blow By Blades

LETHBRIDGE: The Lethbridge Hurricanes scored four third period goals Wednesday night on their way to a 7-4 win over the Saskatoon Blades.

The Hurricanes took a 3-2 lead into the final frame after defenceman Andrew Nielsen scored with 45 seconds left in the second period.

Lethbridge leading scorer Brayden Burke carried the load once again netting one goal and adding three assists.

Nielsen ended the contest with a pair of goals while captain Tyler Wong found the back of the net once and tallied a total of three points.

Canes’ netminder Stuart Skinner made 25 saves including a huge stop on a Blades forward Nick Zajac who was awarded a penalty shot in the second period.

Lethridge is back at the Enmax Centre Friday when they welcome the Tri-City Americans.
