West Side Homicide Victim Faced Criminal Charges

LETHBRIDGE: Charges have been withdrawn against 56-year old Frances Candice Little Light, the woman murdered in her west side apartment Sunday.

The charges dated back to May of 2015, and included two counts of threats to cause death, attempted obstruction and failure to comply with a court order. No further details were provided by Alberta Justice surrounding the alleged incident.

Little Light’s body was found around 5:15 Sunday evening in an apartment complex along the 100 block of Columbia Boulevard.

Police have yet to identify a suspect, but maintain there’s no evidence to suggest an ongoing risk to the general public.
