McGeein Helps Lethbridge Bulls Down Medicine Hat 6-4

LETHBRIDGE – The Lethbridge Bulls (23-16) beat the Medicine Hat Mavericks (27-13) 6-4 on Wednesday at Spitz Stadium behind Mitch McGeein, who went 1-4 and hit a home run in the first inning.

Logan Bima racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He singled in the third inning, homered in the fifth inning, and doubled in the sixth inning.

Mack Major recorded his first win of the year for the Lethbridge Bulls. He allowed one run over three innings. Major struck out two, walked one and gave up three hits.

Jared Libke (6-2) was the game’s losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
