Body of Missing City Man Found in Coulees

LETHBRIDGE – The body of 63-year-old, Joseph “Wayne” Fraser, who was previously reported missing, has been located.

Early on the evening of August 5, Police responded to an area in the coulees west of Scenic Heights, near the Lethbridge Country Club, after the body of a man was found just off a path. The body was identified as a Lethbridge man who was last seen August 4th and had been reported missing by his family. 

There is no evidence to suggest foul play, and the man’s death is being treated as non-suspicious. 

The body will be transported to Calgary for an autopsy to confirm the cause of death, but police indicate the case appears to be a non-criminal matter. No further information will be released.
