Body of Missing Taber Man Recovered from Oldman River

TABER – The body of a 33-year old Taber man reported missing yesterday (Sept. 25) was recovered by Taber RCMP this afternoon.
At about 12:06-pm, his body was found in the Oldman River, near the MD of Taber Park. The man had been swimming with three of his siblings when he climbed a pillar and jumped into the water, but did not resurface.
Police continue to investigate this incident, however, it is not believed to be suspicious in nature.
The name of the deceased will not be released in accordance with the Federal Privacy Act.
