Man in critical condition after stabbing in Stand Off

STAND OFF – Blood Tribe Police are on the hunt for a Stand Off man after a stabbing has left another man in critical condition at Chinook Regional Hospital.
 
At around 4:10-pm last Friday (Dec. 16), police and EMS responded to a fight in progress call at a residence, where they found a 22-year old man with severe stab wounds to his chest.
 
Blood Tribe Ambulance transported the victim to Cardston Hospital, and he was later transferred to Chinook Regional Hospital for emergency surgery. He remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
 
Police have since issued a warrant for 18-year old Ramsey Wilfred Eagle Plume, also known as Good Dagger, for charges related to aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes and numerous breaches of recognizance for failing to comply.
 
The public’s assistance is needed to locate Eagle Plume, but citizens are advised not to approach him due to his violent behaviour and he is believed to be armed. Information can be passed on by contacting Blood Tribe Police at 403-737-3800 or oxy@bloodtribepolice.com, or Crime Stoppers.
