Three Hurricanes on NHL midterm draft rankings

LETHBRIDGE – Three members of the Hurricanes roster appear on the NHL Central Scouting Bureau’s midterm rankings of draft-eligible players.

1999-born centre Jordy Bellerive is the highest ranked skater, at 91st. The Vancouver product has 20 goals and 20 assists in 44 games with Lethbridge his season.

Right-winger Ryan Bowen is listed at 112th. Since he was acquired from Moose Jaw, Bowen has four goals and 14 assists in 20 games. Bowen hails from Penticton, B.C.

Veteran goaltender Stuart Skinner is ranked 9th on the North American goalies list. The Edmonton native has a 3.41 goals-against average in 41 games played, including one shutout.
