WEYBURN, Sask. — The Bulls got back into the win column Tuesday, July 19, thanks to strong hitting, fielding, and pitching performances.

Lethbridge downed the Weyburn Beavers 9-2. Bulls starter Landen Bourassa gave up both Beavers runs in the first inning, but recovered for a six-hit, 10-strikeout performance over seven innings. Lethbridge’s fielders did not commit a single error.

On offense, Ryan Pouwells had three hits, including a home run, and Dylan Borman also homered for the Bulls.

The Bulls remain 4.5 games behind division-leading Okotoks. They close out their Saskatchewan trip with a pair of games against the Moose Jaw Miller Express Wednesday, July 19 and Thursday, July 20.
