LETHBRIDGE COUNTY, AB – Lethbridge County has awarded bursaries to three local students.

The award is open to any resident, including mature students, attending an accredited college, university of trade school.

Reeve Tory Campbell said, “The Post-Secondary Bursary Program is an initiative that council has been proud to support since 2020. We wish today’s recipients, and all applicants much success in their educational journeys.”

Emma Reurink, who is studying in the Animal Veterinary Technician program at Olds College stated, “I am very honoured to be receiving this bursary. I have lived in Lethbridge County my whole life and I am thrilled to be awarded this generous gift. Education is the key to success. This bursary will help me pay for some of my tuition and I am ever thankful.”

Application details for the 2024 program will be released next spring.
