Police Make Arrests in West Side Assault

LETHRBIDGE:  Police have arrested two city women in relation to Wednesday morning’s assault on the west side.

Around 6:30 Wednesday morning, police were called to the 900 block of Columbia Blvd for a report that a man had been stabbed.

The 21-year old victim was found with multiple stab wounds and taken to hospital, where he is now in stable condition.

The Criminal Investigation Division and the Patrol Division were on scene for the entire morning. Their investigation determined that two women known to the victim were responsible for the stabbing.

The details of the dispute are still being investigated but, the weapon has been recovered.

24 year old Linnea Brooke White Quills of Lethbridge is charged with Obstruction and Breaching conditions of a Recognizance, and will be in court on February 25th.

22 year old Peggy Anne Holysinger of Lethbridge is charged with Aggravated Assault, Assault with a weapon, Possession of a weapon, and three counts of Breaching conditions of a Recognizance. She is scheduled to appear on Thursday morning (February 18th).
