UPDATE (Feb 23, 2016) – The human foosball tournament to support the Alzheimer Society on Saturday has been cancelled for this year due to low registration.

LETHBRIDGE – The Human Foosball Tournament in support of the Alzheimer Society is back for a second year.

Teams are encouraged to sign up for the event on February 27th at Orions Sports Centre. It’s a huge version of foosball where the plasitc players are replaced with real people. The playing area is 16 feet wide and 40 feet long.

Each team is asked to raise $500 for the Alzheimer Society.

Manager of Community Relations Diane Herrick says the organization receives very little government funding, so fundraising events like this are so important.
