Bulls lose to Edmonton Prospects in first of two home games

LETHBRIDGE — Third place in the Western Division is still up for grabs and the visiting Edmonton Prospects took a slim lead by as they doubled the Lethbridge Bulls 6-3 at Spitz Stadium.

Edmonton took an early 6-0 lead and then held off the Bulls bats in the bottom of the ninth as Lethbridge rallied for three runs.

Prospects shortstop Zane Takhar contributed two hits, a walk, a RBI and scored two runs in the win, while five other batters had two hits.

Josh Sieglitz picked up the win with Chase Morris adding the save

Kaleb Warden had two hits for the Bulls and Blake MacDonald had a double, a walk and two RBI

Edmonton is 20-23, while the Bulls at 19-and-26.  The two teams meet at Spitz Stadium again Friday night at 7:05.
