Local skater Kaleb Muller named to Team Alberta for Canada Winter Games in Long Track

LETHBRIDGE – Lethbridge Speed Skating Association skater, Kaleb Muller, will be representing the bridge city at the upcoming Canada Winter Games.

Muller has been named to Team Alberta for the Long Track events, which will take place from Feb. 16 to 20 at the new Setters Place Oval in Great Chief Park in Red Deer.

He’s joined on the team by Joshua Hathaway, Paul Coderre and Max Halyk. 

The men’s team will benefit from Muller’s international experience as a member of the National Development Team at the World Juniors in 2018 and his 2015 CWG Short Track experience – where he was teammates with Coderre. 

Prior to joining the Oval Program, Hathaway, who is from Medicine Hat, would travel to Lethbridge to occasionally train with Muller and other top Lethbridge skaters, under the guidance of LSSA coach Tim Cooney.

Competition Days for 2019 CWG Long Track are:
– Saturday, February 16th
– Sunday, February 17th
– Tuesday, February 19th
– Wednesday, February 20th
