Coaldale Granite Club Embraces Curlers of All Ages

COALDALE: The Coaldale Granite Curling Club held their Men’s Bonspiel from March 11th to the13th, including teams from Lethbridge and area.

The Champions of the Men’s Bonspiel, is Team Peesker, which included curlers ranging from the age of 12 up to 75. With a team spanning an age range of 63-years, the club proved curling is a sport for all ages.

The team was Skipped by Merv Peesker, Third was Darren Moulding, Second was Travis Davies and Lead was Jaden McIntyre, who is a junior curler.

The Coaldale club is winding down its season but, anyone interested in participating in league play and bonspiels for the 2016/17 season, they can get more information on the Coaldale Granite Club website
