Tickets go on sale for Hurricanes-Tigers

LETHBRIDGE – They fought back from the brink of elimination, and now the Lethbridge Hurricanes are getting ready for round two of the Western Hockey League playoffs.

Tickets for the Hurricanes’ second-round playoff series against the Medicine Hat Tigers go on sale Wednesday, April 5 at 9 a.m. The ‘Canes will open the series on the road with games one and two set for Medicine Hat’s Canalta Centre Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8.

Games three and four will be at the ENMAX Centre in Lethbridge Tuesday, April 11 and Wednesday, April 12. The Hurricanes will also host game six, if necessary, Sunday, April 16.

Walk-up ticket prices for the second round are $27 for adults, $24 for seniors, and $20 for youth.

The Hurricanes earned a trip to the second-round by defeating the Red Deer Rebels 6-2 before a sold-out home crowd of 5,244 Tuesday night. Lethbridge had trailed the series 3-1 before fighting back.
