MEDICINE HAT --  In the first game of a weekend home-and-home, the Hurricanes travelled east on Highway-3 to challenge the Tigers in Medicine Hat.

The first period clearly belonged to the Canes who ‘out-attacked’ the Tigers in the face offs, winning 14 of 21.

LETHBRIDGE – A big night from the Lethbridge Hurricanes top line of Jordy Bellerive, Taylor Ross and Dylan Cozens and some well-timed goals helped propel them past the Kootenay Ice 6-3 on Tuesday, Oct. 17.

LETHBRIDGE – The cozy confines of Nicolas Sheran Arena didn’t prove to be an advantage for the Pronghorn women’s hockey team this weekend, while a trip east to Saskatchewan helped the Pronghorn men’s hockey team get their first two wins of the young Canada West hockey season.

LETHBRIDGE – Home cooking finally paid off for the Lethbridge Hurricanes as they defeated the Regina Pats 4-2 at the ENMAX Centre on Wednesday, Oct. 10.

Leading the way for the Hurricanes in this one was newcomer Ty Kolle, who had two goals on the night.
